INN RULES
Access & Security:
Address: 189 Beaver Street, North Adams, MA 01247
Arrival Inn Entrance: The Historic Beaver Mill Inn has its entrance on the left side of the mill (south). You may unload in front of the mill, but then please move your car to the parking lot across the street.
- Your exterior and room codes will be emailed to you before arrival (after 3:00 PM).
- Please don’t share them. If you didn’t receive them, call 413- 664 -9550.
- The Inn is not responsible for missing property; please use the room safe for valuables.
- Checkout: 11:00 AM.
- If leaving early, hang the “Clean Room” sign. Before you go, please check the safe, drawers/closet, and under the bed, and remove any food from the kitchen.
Services:
- Housekeeping: Light tidy every 3rd day (or once per week). Change of linens and towels weekly. We don’t change sheets on your final night unless you ask.
- Towels: Swap anytime with a staff person.
- Your room code is emailed to you before arrival. Rooms 1-7 are on the first-floor level; rooms 8-12 are on the second floor (use the stairs after room 5). Communal spaces, including the kitchen, are located on the second floor. Please follow our kitchen rules to keep it clean and tidy for others. We’ll post notices/schedules near the kitchen about our free art studio (wine/cheese) tours and other cultural activities within the Beaver Mill.
- Name + checkout date; use your room’s cabinet for dry goods.
Community rules:
- Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM in corridors and common rooms.
- No guests under 18, no pets, and no smoking (within the Inn, Beaver Mill, or immediate entrance areas)
- Communal Kitchen Etiquette: Label food with ss
- Clean as you go (pans/utensils/counters).
- Seal trash and food in bags before putting them in bins; take larger bags to the dumpster & recycling in the parking lot. (Full Kitchen Rules posted).
Payment
Credit cards (AmEx, Visa, M/C) paid in full before arrival. Quoted rates do not include taxes.
Feedback
If anything isn’t right, tell us right away, and we’ll fix it. If you loved your stay, a quick positive review really helps. This is our first season – we welcome your suggestions!
SMS and Text Messaging Policy
We use a guest messaging platform to communicate with you regarding your stay. By providing your phone number during the booking process, you consent to receive text messages from the property.
- Purpose: Text messaging may be used to send check-in instructions, access information, room readiness updates, and to respond to your requests during your stay.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a final confirmation message, after which no further SMS messages will be sent.
- Help: If you experience issues or need assistance, you may reply HELP or contact the front desk directly.
- Privacy of Mobile Data: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
